If you ask a Wiccan or a spiritualist they will tell you that in this world there are 'higher powers' capable of influencing areas of life that cannot be helped by science and technology: things like love, luck and happiness. These 'higher powers' are described as being like spirits or gods that can make 'miracles' happen. And spells to get your ex back, or charms and amulets to protect you, are supposed to depend on these higher powers.

People who sell spells on the internet are supposed to be able to persuade (or trick) these higher powers to help you with your problems by 'using' or 'borrowing' or even 'stealing' a bit of power from them on your behalf.

Now that is all well and good. But let me ask you: what do you suppose the higher powers think about these magic-sellers who cast spells to get your ex back and so ask to borrow their power to solve your relationship problems? Or maybe not even ask them but just take some power … like 'just borrowing' some money? Don't you think the powers would expect people to make a bit of an effort themselves first, before asking for 'higher help'?

Put it this way: if a friend of yours wanted to learn to drive a car, and they bought a spell to 'learn to drive', but they didn't buy a book or get some lessons, would you think they were really serious about wanting to drive? Would you lend your friend money for the spell if they didn't buy lessons?

Or if they bought a spell to keep them safe in the car after they had passed their test … what if they didn't wear their seat-belt, 'because I've got a spell'?

Witches and warlocks know that spells to get your ex back can backfire. As they say, 'the powers help those who help themselves'. In other words, any 'higher powers' that are capable of influencing human happiness would clearly also be quite capable of judging whether a human being is really sincere and deserving in his or her efforts to alter life for the better.

If you really want to influence your ex … if you're considering spells to get your ex back … ask yourself whether you've made enough of an effort yet to deserve the assistance of a 'power that helps those who help themselves'.
